The challenge
Shiperoo 3PL, a rapidly growing third-party logistics provider, employs a technology-first approach and aims to minimise operational inefficiencies in its warehouse operations.
Manual processes create bottlenecks in inventory management, order picking, and replenishment.
With rising order volumes and customer demands for speed and accuracy, the use of automated picking and storage systems was the only way to ensure scalable, high-throughput fulfilment.
The solution
To transform warehouse operations, we deployed an advanced warehouse automation system centred around the Geek+ Roboshuttle goods-to-person (G2P) solution.
This system minimised manual picking and drastically improved picking speed and accuracy. We integrated a conveyor system to streamline tote induction and automate replenishment processes, enabling seamless flow of goods from inbound to picking stations.
Our team led the integration and commissioning of the automation solution, ensuring the system worked cohesively within Shiperoo’s unique warehouse layout and operational workflows.
The tech
The solution leveraged the Geek+ Roboshuttle goods-to-person system, enabling high-density storage and rapid retrieval to support fast, accurate order fulfilment.
A custom-configured conveyor system was integrated to manage tote induction and streamline the replenishment process, ensuring smooth material flow throughout the warehouse.
At the core of the operation, the system was orchestrated by Geek+ GPS (Global Picking System) and Warehouse Execution System (WES), which provided intelligent task management, real-time coordination, and system-wide optimisation.
This end-to-end automation architecture was purpose-built to meet the demands of 3PL warehousing, offering scalability, precision, and operational efficiency in high-throughput environments.
